The Strengths Approach

The Strengths Approach is the foundation of everything we do. At its simplest, it consists of focusing on the things that people naturally enjoy, are energised by, and excel at to help them be happier, more engaged, and more effective at work.

If this approach sounds unfamiliar, it’s probably because many approaches to development have been based in traditional thinking, which has for the past century or so been largely focused on deficits, illnesses, and weaknesses.

But current research has shown that a focus on weaknesses alone can actually decrease performance by as much as 26%.
