Ruth is a business psychologist and organisational and leadership development specialist with 15 years experience working across diverse industries and assignments. She is passionate about helping organisations bring out the best in their people by unlocking and harnessing the strengths of their people. She founded Executive Strengthin 2010 to support organisations to identify and develop the productive energies of their people to deliver outstanding results. Ruth is particularly interested in the application of the science of positive psychology and uses her signature strengths focused approach in her work with clients around themes which include personal effectiveness, managing pressure and change, authentic leadership, management effectiveness and team optimisation.
For the last 15 years she has facilitated, trained and coached at a variety of levels, from graduates to board representatives and developed leaders and emerging talent across sectors including financial services, pharmaceutical and professional services industries. Her work has taken her across the globe to Hong Kong, New York, Europe and the Middle East.
In the last 5 years, she has developed a passion for working in the healthcare sector, and has designed and delivered a successful leadership development programme for senior leaders for the largest acute trust in the UK. She is about to launch a strengths based E learning programme for NHS clinicians in 2015.Her vision is for clinicans across the United Kingdom healthcare system to have the tools and resources to identify and activate their strengths to be able to do more of what they do best every day to ultimately positively impact patients and the staff they work with.
