Katie’s career includes 15 years working in Global Financial Services in a variety of HR and OD roles as well as well as 10 years as a Learning and Development Consultant and Coach supporting Senior Managers and Technical Experts and Specialists in a range of industry sectors and in not for profit organisations.
She is particularly interested in emotional intelligence, positive psychology, impact and influence and interpersonal communication and how these can enhance performance and effectiveness at work. She has experience across a wide range of organisations in different countries and cultures and has supported many individuals and teams to harness their strengths more effectively to develop their resilience, deal with challenging circumstances and transitions and to feel more energised and satisfied in their work.
Katie is always keen to support women with the specific challenges they face in their careers, particularly in male dominated industries, and coaches women to use their Strengths to enhance their confidence, impact and results.
She is a chartered member of the CIPD, has a first degree in Social Psychology and a Postgraduate Diploma in HR Management. She is the author of “The Professional Woman’s Guide to Giving Employee Feedback” (Impackt Publishing 2014).
Her standout strengths are: creativity, optimism, resilience, emotional control and flexibility.
